First Alert PR700 Battery Powered Slim Smoke Detec

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my First Alert PR700 Battery Powered Slim Smoke Detector With Photoelectric Sensor and immediately installed it. I was replacing my old one with this one. I really like this smoke detector and was very easy to install. It comes with mounting bracket and hardware. It is slim designed. Half the depth of a standard alarm which I like. It has a Photoelectric Sensor which is more sensitive than the other brands of smoke detectors. All in all this is a very good smoke detector. I have nothing negative to say about my First Alert Smoke Detector. The First Alert Smoke Detector is a high quality and good product that I would highly recommend.

Slim design, easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pr700 battery powered slim smoke detector is easy to install or to uninstall if you had to move it. It is not a bulky eyesore. Home, garage, or office. Just hang it and test it and it's done. It is a good idea to set a date and change battery ever so often, at least once a year. And, it is my own opinion, but if you don't have a fire extinguisher in your home, it wouldn't hurt to get you one. Better safe than sorry

Nice and slim and works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to install and get it up and going in no time at all. The manual is very detailed so anyone that has never installed one should be able to with little problems. It comes with everything you need including the battery. Its slim design allows it to fit in with any ceiling without sticking out and looking out of place. When testing it the alarm is loud enough to wake you if you are sleeping. For larger houses I would say buy 2 or more of these but smaller houses one should do the trick. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thoroughly pleased with the slim smoke detector. It was very easy to assemble and hook up. The alarm is pretty loud. The profile is pretty slim. What I love about this is that it isn't overly sensitive, at all. I cooked a lot of food which cause smoke to come from the oven. My old smoker would have sounded the alarm. This smoker did not. This is a great product. I highly recommend it. I am so pleased that I do not have to replace the battery for a very long time. I will definitely be getting more of these to place throughout my house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is a good working smoke detector. Its loud enough for the whole second story house to hear! I like that there is a mute button for when I burnt dinner and there is no actual fire. I like the design, it's slim and can fit almost anywhere without looking bulky. The installation was super easy, and I love that it already came with a battery. This is a well designed smoke detector and very reliable, I will be placing one of these in every room of my house. I would definitely recommend this smoke detector.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try the First Alert PR700 Battery Powered Slim Smoke Detector with Photoelectic Sensor especially since my old one quit working. The First Alert PR700 Battery Powered Slim Smoke Detector with Photoelectic Sensor was very easy to hang on the wall and very easy to test. My wife was cooking and had the smoke in the kitchen coming from the stovetop grill and it went off so it is very sensitive which is a great thing. I would definitely recommend buying the First Alert PR700 Battery Powered Slim Smoke Detector with Photoelectic Sensor.

Low Profile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my 10 year old smoke detector with this new battery powered slim detector with photoelectric sensor. It is light, modern, and has a low profile. It came with a 9 volt battery, so it was ready to go. I like having the photoelectric sensor as an upgrade to my existing detector, it's just another level of protection that eases my mind. There's nothing more important that my family's safety. I like how the photoelectric sensor is able to tell the difference between a real threat of smoke, and my cooking. I don't have to worry about having the oven on above 350 anymore. Overall, this is s great looking product that has great features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a quality life-saving device that should be in everyone's home. It was easy to install and use. The alert sound is very loud and will be hard for someone to sleep through it if went off in the middle of the night. Overall you cannot go wrong with this purchase. It is easy to install and has a slim profile design so you won't even notice it's there. This is a photoelectric smoke sensor that detects large particles which tend to be produced in greater amounts by smoldering fires before bursting into flames. This item also meets UL217 standards for smoke alarms.
