I purchased this item for our 6 year old grandson and had it mailed to him for his birthday. My other 6 year old grandchild, a girl, received it for the holidays from her other grandmother and seemed to really enjoy it. I'm not sure if it's too young for our grandson (he's really into cars and trucks), but he immediately began playing with it with his sister, who is 8. It's rated for 4* so I'd probably recommend it for a younger child, but it's nicely made and helps to encourage interactive play.

My kids got this product for Christmas and they absolutely love it. The fun ranges from ages 11 ro 18 months and they play with it everyday. My 18month old has learned great hand eye coordination.
