Great gift for my son he is 2 and we are trying to buy toys that are going to last awhile since they are wood they need a little more care but they won't break and fall apart within a few hours which is awesome!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I started to put this playhouse together myself, and had it almost completely finished by the time my husband came down to lend a hand (lol). Very easy to put together, but the final touches are much easier with two builders! Everything lined up perfectly so long as you follow the instruction of not fully tightening all the screws until the very end. We were unable to get the elevator to stay up on it's own, but our 3 year old son could care less and plays with it all the time. The second day we had it, he walked up to it, gave it a hug and a kiss and said, "I love you house." And that pretty much sums up how we feel about it!

We put this together for our grandchildren and holes for the screws were incomplete We could not fasten the top support for the roof Line. Poor quality. I am calling customer service. Good thing we assembled early.

My 2 & 4 year old granddaughters play with it every time they visit. Both are enthralled with it for different reasons, based on their level of play. Really well built playhouse. My husband was able to get the elevator to work - we had read that others weren't able to. It does not hard stop on each floor though, but my girls love to make it go up and down with some critters in it.
