I love that everything you need is included. The loom and the wooden needle that comes with the kit are good quality. The yarn that comes with the kit is beautiful thick rainbow color that any child would love. It did not take long for my daughter to figure out the loom weave technique. This is probably the longest time I think I've seen her sit with undevided attention and joy. She is not only beaming with confidence, but has a happy disposition in the fact that she can do this all by herself. Wonderful gift for any kid that likes arts and crafts. Highly recommend!!

My daughter likes this but has trouble with one thing

The loom is easy to set up and it's pretty easy to figure out how to use it. However, we very quickly discovered one issue not addressed in the instructions. When weaving anything bigger than the coaster it is a challenge to measure out the yarn. She wants to do a placemat and the directions don't indicate how much yarn to use to fill the whole loom. An even bigger challenge to manage the giant pile while weaving. Do you have suggestions for how to easily manage the giant pile and keep from getting tangled while passing the needle back and forth. Given the amount of yarn needed for some of the projects in the instructions, I am guessing the full loom will take nearly 100 yards of yarn. Is there a way to manage that so we don't have a 100 yard pile of yarn that then needs to be hand pulled thru each time?

This has been a great loom for multiple projects of fun with my granddaughter. Purse, table runner and the picture projects are so colorful.Hoping we can find more supplies on website. Loom is very sturdy and well made. Easy to assemble. Love it.
