As Grandparents, we purchased this for our granddaughter's 4th birthday. She absolutely loves it and we've been playing and cooking all day long. She especially loves the icecube dispenser. We are happy that it was so easy to put together. Instructions were clear and precise and all the pieces were in the package. Delivery was also very fast. We are so happy with our decision to purchase this kitchen set from Melissa and Doug.

The construction is very cheap

The door hinges are connected by screw to very soft faux wood that practically tears like paper when four year olds invariably run into it/trip over it when open.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very pleased with this kitchen set. It looks real with its microwave, fridge, oven, storage space, etc. My grandkids went right to it & enjoyed it right away. I bought it to use with the Melissa & Doug shopping cart for the full kitchen experience!
The quality is pretty good. It appears to be thin plywood but that keeps it light, realistic & reasonably well priced. It was not difficult to assemble, another plus.
