It was a birthday gift for our grandson! After the first few pieces the assembly went easily, following directions a must!! He loved it, it was very well made!! The adults did also!! When Nana and Papa we're losing into our truck we think we lost the ice cubes, we definitely had them and they worked! Wonder if we could purchase a replacement, cute feature!! Thanks, A Happy Nana and Papa

Back in December i was on a hunt for a new kitchen for my kiddos to play with. I was between this one and a kidkraft kitchen. I chose this one due to the good reviews, however, I am HIGHLY disappointed with what we got. All was well at first, and the kiddos loved it and played with it, but after only 3 months of having it, the handle ripped off of the oven, (By an 18 month old, who could only do this if it was poorly made), the kitchen has been slowly falling apart since. The door to the oven is pushing inwards now and cracked, the handle to the sink is breaking off. My kids are young, and do not play roughly with it, this is poorly made and I wouldn't want anyone else to waste their money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Kitchen Sink was broken upon purchase. Has been three weeks with no response from Melissa and Doug if this is going to be replaced.

My 3 year old son is excited about his kitchen! My husband and I stayed up until almost 5AM Christmas morning putting it together. It's adorable, had great features, and is all around the best for the price we researched for wooden sets. The only setbacks would be that the screws are exposed (no decorative stickers included to cover them) and the doors for the microwave and freezer/refrigerator are loose and I worry they may break off easily eventually since he is young and still learning his own strength. Otherwise, it's a fantastic product for kiddos!
