Magnet is too weak to lift cars; truck bed is too narrow

I purchased this for my 21-month old grandson. I like that it is crafted in wood, but the design is impractical and therefore, prohibitive for play. The magnet is not strong enough to lift the cars up and onto the truck bed. They fall off halfway there. The platform (truck bed) is too narrow, so the cars only fit on it together If they are wedged in tightly. My grandson is normally very persistent when it comes to solving problems, but he lost interest in this toy when it simply didn't work.

Love all their products but this one is flimsy

We have tons of their toys, mostly cars and trucks. My son got this one for his birthday and it only lasted days. He asked me to help him turn the arm that has the magnet on it since it was a little to stiff for him to move and it literally snapped in half. Pretty disappointed in the quality of this toy. Should've lasted longer and held up to more use than a few days. Plus, the way it splintered when it broke could have really hurt some kiddos hand. Glad I was the one to do it.
