1.5 yo boy tries to use it but I think the jerky arm movements combined with weak magnetic force between arm and car makes it a less useful toy.

Magnet is too weak to lift cars; truck bed is too narrow

I purchased this for my 21-month old grandson. I like that it is crafted in wood, but the design is impractical and therefore, prohibitive for play. The magnet is not strong enough to lift the cars up and onto the truck bed. They fall off halfway there. The platform (truck bed) is too narrow, so the cars only fit on it together If they are wedged in tightly. My grandson is normally very persistent when it comes to solving problems, but he lost interest in this toy when it simply didn't work.

Got the toy today and my son hasn’t stopped playing with it. However I wish the magnetic crane part would stay in better. It pops out while he uses it and then he ends up not playing with the magnet part. I wish it stayed in better because my son adores the toy.
I would recommend this to a friend!
