We bought this product for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. Melissa & Doug's toys are very well made and my daughter broke pieces and they were so helpful and quick to send me replacement parts. This just reaffirms why I will continue to buy Melissa & Doug products over other brands!

We purchased this for our daughter for Christmas and she has not stop playing with it since. When other kids come over, they don't want to leave. All the details make playing grocery store feel like the real thing. We also got the grocery companion which gives you all the details to play customer or store clerk. Melissa and Doug products are such great quality. Love the whole line.

Disappointing

I was so disappointed with this. Bought it and its horrible Because it was Bought just before the coronavirus. I cant return it . We had a fire and lost everything. I was lucky enough to of had some stuff in storage previously. Wood was falling apart when putting it together, scews didn't go in all the way so some space is left between some of the pieces pieces missing. I will be buying from somewhere else from now on. Waste of money and kids were heartbroken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Would not buy this again it's fun but not good quality

We got this just after Christmas and the other day my daughter fell and unsed the held to hold her up and it broke the quality is just awful she's barely 26 lbs. I've sent 2 emails regarding this and no replies! We're in Canada so paid over $200 it's a super fun toy but very easy to break. Not impressed about my emails not being returned either!

I've put together a few hundred kids toys, pieces of furniture, kit boats, you name it. This was, by far, the easiest, best designed product of this sort I've ever seen. The instructions were spot on and there are even pictures of the product on each instruction page and they actually show you what it looks like.

Great for even older kids

Bought it for my 8 and 10 year old. They love it! They wanted an upgrade from the first model I bought three years ago that doubled as a lemonade stand. I purchased the Melisa & Doug classic money set back then to sit on top so I was ecstatic to see an upgraded model that incorporated the two. I always buy additional fruits and veggies to go with store and they spend hours between the store and their kitchen after homework. My only complaint is I wish it was taller. I had to buy ply wood and permanently attach the store to it so my kids could stand and play with with it. Outside of that misstep, it's fantastic! It has so many features that older kids enjoy, i.e. money counting, the credit card machine, and the coupons.It's really helping them with their math skills.
