LOVE LOVE LOVE this. My 3, 5, and 7 year old have been playing with it ALL day. Nicely built, great instructions. Amazing product. It really should come with the grocery companion kit. It is kind of silly to just have the store and not the groceries or accessories. Charge a little more and sell them together.

While the play value of this toy is huge the quality is poor. I have had this toy for a year now. The cash drawer was broke within a week. I contacted Melissa & Doug and they were great and replaced it. Since then, the conveyer belt broke, the bottom shelf is broke and the fridge door has broke. This is way overpriced for the quality it is. Aside from the quality this toy is amazing. My kids spend hours playing with it daily. The scanner /debit machine is a huge favourite. Even broken my kids love it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My daughter received this as a gift and when we went to put it together it was missing the conveyor belt. I called customer service and they got a replacement sent out to us right away. Melissa and Doug's customer service is beyond compare and it is one of the reason I will continue to buy their products for my children as well as tell my friends about them. This little store is super cute and my daughter loves it. I can see years of play out of this.
