Poorly made

This is poorly made, the scanner stopped working in a little over a month, the door on the "fridge" section never really fit in place and now has broken. Then conveyor belt never really worked to begin with. For the amount it costs, i expected this to have been built better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this for our daughter for Christmas & she absolutely loves it. While putting it together I noticed that the "closed" sign that goes on the belt wasn't included in the box, as is pictured on you website for the product. Oher than that, the instructions were very easy to read and assemble. So far, she spends about half of her day playing "grocery shop" and loves the battery operated scanner and red light. Great product overall.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not so Merry Christmas

Purchased for grandkids for Christmas, went to assemble on Christmas Day and no instructions and no hardware to assemble. I would love to recommend but can't. Let's see how quickly I receive a response to my email and how quickly I get the hardware. My grandchildren are so disappointed!

I was disappointed by this purchase. The holes when building it weren't aligned properly making assembly annoying and time consuming. The knob that rotates the belt comes off so easily. I was under the impression that the keypad for the cash register beeped or made noise, it does not. The Melissa and Doug grocery cart I bought to go with this set was very difficult to put together also due to misalignment. The wooden Melissa and Doug food I bought to go with this were so tiny, several pieces came unpainted, literally looked like raw wood. This was my child's large Christmas present and was a huge disappointment for the price. Will think twice about ever buying Melissa and Doug toys ever again. What a shame.

Never will I spend this kind of money for this service

I bought this item as gift for ChristMas and it was missing a part. Company has not made it right even with multiple emails and then one of their associates was to call me and he never did and now will not respond this was a Santa gift and my daughter cannot figure out why Santa will not bring her the part that is missing!!!!! Do not spend this kind of money for their products they put it under the "the owners are parents" well if they were parents who cared then their customer service would be a lot better. And I would have the part.
