I bought this store for my daughter who LOVES it! I was concerned about the size but this has proven to be hours of fun! My daughter just turned 9 and loves to play grocery store. We bought the grocery store kit as well and we have,many play food sets that compliment this well :) I also have a home daycare. This is so much fun for the 2 & up ages and very durable! I would recommend 3 & up however. Thank you Melssia & Doug for another great product! :)

My son loved this toy when it first arrived. He did not want to stop playing with it. When the scanner broke about a month after we got it, he hasn't played with it since. We tried to change the batteries multiple times. It's completely dead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Christmas gift and Scanner does not work!

We were so excited for this gift since it was supposed to be the highlight on Christmas morning, but we tried so many different brand new batteries and the scanner/credit card machine does not work. It's pretty disappointing!!

Purchase the product back in the fall for my daughter for Christmas. I really liked the product however when we took it out of the box a piece of the wood was broken. My 5 year old still likes to play with it but it affects the conveyor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quick to assemble. My nieces loved the item. Only thing that would make this better is if the key pad made noise when the buttons were pressed. Both sides are silent. Even the button that has what looks like a speaker on it doesn't make noise. But overall, great.

I was disappointed by this purchase. The holes when building it weren't aligned properly making assembly annoying and time consuming. The knob that rotates the belt comes off so easily. I was under the impression that the keypad for the cash register beeped or made noise, it does not. The Melissa and Doug grocery cart I bought to go with this set was very difficult to put together also due to misalignment. The wooden Melissa and Doug food I bought to go with this were so tiny, several pieces came unpainted, literally looked like raw wood. This was my child's large Christmas present and was a huge disappointment for the price. Will think twice about ever buying Melissa and Doug toys ever again. What a shame.
