Doesn’t heat Properly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was installed in our brand new home, but none of the burners work properly. They either heat too quickly and burn food or don’t heat up enough to cook anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We will be installing this cooktop on top of a 3 drawer cabinet system. We want to be sure that the cooktop leaves enough room in the top drawer to be usable. I see with the junction box on the cooktop that it takes up 5" of height. Can the junction box be removed from the cooktop and installed and recessed into the wall to shorten up the overall height needed for installation? We need to have the final installation height as small as possible.
