Frigidaire Gallery 36'' Electric Cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I currently have a Frigidaire Gallery 36'' Electric Cooktop which is going great! I bought it in 2006 and it is still going strong, the only reason I bought a new one (not installed) as the old one is working good, but the glass is broken a bottle fell out of my kitchen cupboard above the stove and cracked the top around the edge a long time ago but now part of the cracked glass got bigger and came off, but the stove is still working very good, except for when turned on it takes a little time to get fired up. I am holding off to install the new one as for fear of breakage. I would also like to know if the glass could be replaced if broken. I still consider this stove top a very durable. We cook at least 5 day a week.

Frigidaire Gallery - 36" Electric cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new cooktop offers a wide variety of burner sizes: a 10" Quick Boil burner, 6" and 7" burners, and a 9"/11" expandable burner. Additionally, the burners all have a wide heat range and are particularly good in the lower simmer settings.

Cooktop surface coating

I am not impressed by the coating on the surface. It is very difficult to remove burned on overspills.
