Great fridge terrible ice maker

Let me start by saying that the appearance is what sold me on this , I did not read any reviews or do any research on Brands , I purchased and extended warranty from the home appliance store , Thankfully........ the ice maker went out after 14 months, The warranty repair company was not able to fix the unit so I received a new fridge same model now at 13 months I am experiencing the same problem .... Yes I did purchase another warranty , my recommendation great fridge , ice maker terrible

IT WAS TIME FOR A NEW REFRIGERATOR IN THE STUBBS HOUSE....WE NEEDED MORE SPACE AND MORE FUNCTIONALITY FOR OUR REFRIGERATED AND FROZEN PRODUCTS....AND THE LOOK WOULD BE NICE!!!!!

"Stand by your man"

We love our fridge.But what we really loved was how Electrolux stood behind their product so much so that when we had an "unusual" occurrence with our fridge, the company replaced the whole fridge & gave us a BRAND NEW ONE...Something happened with the compressor & it "bowed out" the back of the fridge into a "V" shape. When we called our local dealer, The Appliance Place in ColoniaL Heights, Va (which are also excellent by the way) they contacted Electrolux & informed us that this was something isolated & that the whole fridge was being replace..this made us VERY happy. We bought quality product & was glad to know that you stand by your product. To take it even further, when the guys came to deliver it, there was a dent in the bottom freezer door & that also is being replaced. I am highly satisfied with the service I have received. Since the purchase of the fridge, we have also purchased the stove that matches it, Electrolux of course. We wanted to make our kitchen "retirement ready" & we are hoping with these quality appliances that will be the case. Thank you again so much for being a great company that stands behind your products & warranties. We have told all our friends & families about the above & how pleased we are. We will be electrolus fans forever.. I am waiting for my washer & dryer to stop working so I can purchase these as well. Thank You for wanting to know our story. Gary & Donna Peppers

The ice maker has been nothing short of a nightmare. The refrigerator has been replaced due to the many issues we have had with our unit.

Electrolux EW28BS85KS Refriderator

Have owned Electrolux products over 40 years and have been a very satisfied customer. The Electrolux EW28BS85KS Refriderator has been a living nightmare. We have experienced water leaking from the ice maker, the ice maker not making ice cubes, the refridgerator overheating and spoiling food in both the refridgerator and freezer. We have had so many problems we may never again buy an Electrolx appliance. However, we we fortunate enough that after extensive efforts Electrolux agree to replace their product (twice).

Wonderful Refrigerator

We love our new refrigerator. Love having two ice makers. Love the wine/meat drawer. The freezer is roomy and has lots of storage. Love the ice cream drawer. Ample room on the doors for storage. The fruit and veggie drawers are nice and big and I love being able to control the humidity. The design on the ice receptacle in the freezer could use some tweaking. The ice over fills and when you pull the freezer drawer out, ice falls behind. It is hard to get the ice out without removing trays. You can't leave the ice because then the drawer will not close tightly. I leave the lever pulled up normally, so the ice bucket will not overfill. I put it down when expecting company. The top ice maker keeps up with daily needs. (at least for the winter, summer may have higher demand). Overall, I am very pleased with my new refrigerator.

Love all the space

The space in this fridge is crazy, we've been able to double the amount of frozen items we've stored in this fridge, eliminating the need for a separate freezer. The only complaint I would have is it's not all effective space, there's not a lot of places to store tall items unless you remove shelves and then there's a lot of wasted space above them. The touch panel is all I expected it to be, very sleek, nice looking and easy to use.
