Never Again

We purchased the first model of the French Door Refrigerator a couple years ago, This units ice machine was so bad and required constant repair, that the unit was replaced by the warrantee company. So in July of 2012, we received the newer updated version of the French door unit and again the new engineered unit continues to have ice machine issue. We have had 5 service calls on the ice machine. What happens is the water line freezes up, and you don’t get water on the door, nor can it make ice. They keep on putting in the factory fixes, but it continues to fail. I can’t tell you how dissatisfied I am with this product and I will never ever buy another one again. Nor will I ever recommend one to anyone.

Looks nice, but I don't like having to open both doors to open the right inside drawer, or the long temp drawer. Don't like shelves curving up on edges, nothing will sit flat. Inside door shelves are too small. Freezer---ice drawer too big and won't open if bottom drawer is too full. Not enough space. Ice cubes in top section are so small.

Wish I would have choosen a different unit!

Although awesome to look at and if it all worked it would be wonderful. However we have had nothing but trouble with this unit. The top icemaker has in a very short while had to be fixed twice so far and we are not there but on weekends so very little use. It will not give cubes only goes to crushed which leaves a mess every time. The bottom ice maker fills too high and every time that you open the drawer ice goes flying all over. Poor design! I would love to have these things fixed forever or would like a new unit. It was far more expensive than one I have at home that is a Maytag one drawer two door unit with no problems. Would not only not recommend this unit I would steer people AWAY from it. Very disappointed : (

A great product!

's the kind of refrigerator I want next! The look is very impressive!
I try to keep it very neat and organized because my friends and family likes to look in side it. The ice makers makes plenty of ice, temperature controls are great. My water dispenser gives a good flow of water. Love my freezer in the bottom! I am very happy,happy with everything , so many good features!

Electrolux French Door Wave Touch

this refrigerator is a replacement for an older version of the device. We went through years of trying to fix the ice maker but everything Electrolux tried failed after a few months. They finally helped us by giving us a credit to replace it. We decided to pay the dealer the additional amount to upgrade to the Wave Touch. We have had this appliance for 6 months now and we love it. Everything works perfectly and the dual ice make was more than what we originally wanted but are now making use of it. We were absolutely impressed with how Electrolux stood behind its products and the ice maker this unit is totally different from the old one and works like a champ. If anyone is looking for a quality refrigerator with the French door and wave touch, this is the one they should buy. It costs a little more than the competitors but look at the reviews of other manufacturers of this type of refrigerator and you will see what we mean!
I would recommend this to a friend!

LOTS OF PROBLEMS

Second one and the problems with this one brings the frustration out. When you buy a new product you should be able to plug and play . It is real bad when your customers remember your *800 for repairs and not the stress free usage of your products...........

This is our second Electrolux fridge, the first was plagued with problems, mainly having to do with the ice maker. Electrolux replaced our first one. This model has apparently resolved those issues and works and looks great. The second in-freezer ice maker is great in the summer when we need more ice.
I would recommend this to a friend!
