(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Our 4th Whirlpool washer in 16 years needed replacing (extended warranties). At the 1st month, to the exact date, of delivery, we had the repairman here to investigate the following details: spin cycles were very loud, shaking unit, and still wet at the end of the wash. He didn't do much, but he did say that blankets and bathmats should not be washed in this machine (hadn't done that yet), and not to use a full load. Wow. This means I can't really use the washer properly. True, it is quieter on a "medium" load. It is still very noisy on a small load. The clothes still don't come out damp, like all the previous washers. I now have to do laundry more often, and, as the repairman suggested, take my blankets/bath mats to a commercial laundrymat. So why did |I buy a new washer???
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Beanniejr! We sincerely apologize to hear you are displeased with the design of your new washer. The newer washers will require some additional care from previous models due to recent changes over the years. We apologize to hear that this does not meet your expectations and appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this was purchased by the builder of my new condo. It is efficient and effective in cleaning clothes. I would have liked an option for tomes washing like the dryer has for drying.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The builder of my new condo chose this machine. It works well. I would like it more if there was a loud sound that was audible when the wash was finished. I understand that I have to leave the door open to avoid the drum getting an odor. I do like all the choices of cycles.
