Although YOU pay for the electricity to run this, although YOU pay for the water and the soaps, Big Brother Whirlpool decides how much water you can use. Even on bulky settings, the drum doesn't fill up with enough water to clean anything. Clothes slap around in the drum, barely wet. You're not saving the planet, Whirlpool, because people have to run more than one extra-long wash for each load to get anything clean! Ironically, when you choose the 'clean washer' cycle, water flows like a waterfall inside and gets deep in the drum. But if you add clothes to that cycle it senses them and won't run. So that's proof the drip drip of water when there are clothes in there is intentional. Do not buy!

Cycle Modifiers: Manually adjust Soil Level, Spin Speed, and Temperature after selecting a cycle.
Water Level (Some Models): Choose Auto Sensing (automatic level) or Deep Water Wash (maximum water; longer time).
Bulky Cycle: Uses agitation during a long fill (10-12 mins) for improved cleaning of bulky items.
Low-Water Systems (Non-Agitator): Water level is automatic. Do not manually add water; load clothes loosely around the wash plate.
Clean Washer Cycle: Run monthly/every 30 cycles to re-calibrate water levels. affresh® is recommended.

Whirlpool Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How could you make a washer that has door in the bottom corner to access to the water flow tube. I have never seen a washer that did not provide access to clean the water flow tube which runs the risk of flooding or the maching malfunctioning. I will never buy Whirlpool products again knowing your design structure is so poorly thought out. Shame on you Whirlpool!

This is trash. Constant error codes, and it gets worse and worse. You also can't clean the filter because of the terrible design. I wish I had a time machine to go back and warn myself about this terrible washer. Unless it was a whirlpool brand time machine. Please don't buy this washer!

This senior has to get used to it!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was intimidated at first as there are so many computer sized features, I was just used to pulling knobs in and out. However I'm getting used to it now.... it's very very quiet I forget it's in my house and does a good job with laundry. I would prefer adjusting my water level but understand it's all done by sensors.
