Washer sucks why did i ever give up my top loader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washer sucks. Clothes still smell like deodorant or perfume. Why does it wash for 6 seconds and pauses for 6 seconds entire cycle? It never gets momentum! I hate it
