I'm loving it, no complaints so far. Question - is this model an HE washer? I've been using HE detergent, if not an HE model, should I switch my detergent?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer replaces a Whirlpool Duet washer that failed 1 month before it was 12 years old. The old washer worked with no problems until this time. The new washer has too many settings that are not necessary, and don't run as long as the timer says it will. The "END" light stays on for only a short time, the shuts off, if you forgot that you done a load you don't see it. Old machine had a small light, dim but on. As soon as machine goes into sensing mode it drops 1 minute of time, how can it know after 1 or 2 rounds of the drum to drop a minute? I have only one time had the sensor mode add time, that time I put in way more clothes than anyone would put in, the sensor added time but stopped 13 minutes before the starting time said it would. The old machine didn't cause a water hammer, new machine is very loud. This is the first time I have bought a extended warranty, because of all the things I found this machine to do when getting to know it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this new washer, the controls are easy to use, just choose your load and the washer picks the approriate settings for you. You can override them if you want to change. I mostly just let it choose settings by itself. Very easy to use.
DO NOT BUY IF YOU CANT MOVE THE UNIT AFTER. The washer works fine enough. Removing the back panel to access the drain filter is a huge inconvenience as our units are stacked in a very tight space. This is a poor engineering design as cleaning the drain filter is essential to maintaining the life span of the washer unit. I looked through my owner's manual on how to clean my drain filter. The instruction does not match my unit or the 3 other similar units sold in Canada. I am very disappointed with Whirlpool in the year 2022 they could easily upload a new PDF explaining how to gain access to the drain filter.
