This came with my condo Prebuild. I've owned it for 3 years and it leaks everywhere now. I figured it was the front sealing gasket, but the water seems to be coming from behind the front panel assembly. The technician mentioned it is likely the fill tray at the the top left overflowing and allowing water to leak down from there.
At this time, The front sealing gasket is wonderfully designed to trap all kinds of hair, scum and other other stuff that helps with growing mildew, mold, and the like. be sure you keep on top of that or everything will stink.
All that aside. the performance of the machine is OK. The programming for the spin cycle kind of sucks. if the load is off balance, it'll only tell you after trying to spin itself to death before the vibration sensors figure out there's a problem and eventually slow down the motor. By then machine has already tried walking out of the closet and scared the dickens out of my dog.
I miss the days of the old basic top loaders. I had a basic old white one for 10+ years in a previous rental and NEVER had 1 issue with it.

Broken after less than 3 years.

Last month I had the same error come up E2F6 and now it came after a load did not finish spinning and it is stuck. From what I read it seems to be a motherboard problem and it is a bit of a expense to fix now I'm stuck with a broken washer and who knows if I ever gonna get it fixed at this point It seems more viable to buy a new one...not a whirlpool again thanks.

Completely dead within 3.5 years, do not buy!

Bad machine design, poorly built, do not buy! I purchased this washer 07/03/2019 and have had nothing but problems with it. Within the first year there was an issue with a part missing from it being built in the factory, which caused water to spray out on the inside during a load. This caused the control panel on the front to fail from water damage. Also have water constantly leak down the front and pool underneath the machine, from the poorly fitting laundry detergent tray. Now less than 3.5 years after purchase, the appliance control unit has also failed. Been through 2 Whirlpool washing machine's in the past 11 years - this brand is not what it used to be. We won't buy Whirlpool again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Repair man came out. Thinks it needs new board. It'll take a week. We told meritage homes and we want a new one. No washer since 5/9/23 not happy with all of this!

Unattractive and not enough control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sorry to hurt your feelings, but the new design in UGLY. I had a Whirlpool front loading set that I loved (bought in 2009) but had to replace because the dryer died. I wish I could have my old set back.
They do clean and dry clothes well. However, I feel like I have very little control over how they are washed and dried. I do not like the way the automatic settings work, I hate the long wash/dry times, and the eco boost is a joke.
