Easy to Access Pump Filter & Other Great Features!

I decided on this model mostly because I wanted a front loader where I could access the pump filter easily since it is common for that to need to be cleaned out on front loaders occasionally. (it is easily accessed through the drawer on the bottom -- I don't have to take panels off or make holes in the cabinet like I have seen other people do on other brands). Apart from that, I have been pleasantly surprised by all of the features. I love the Load and Go option, so I don't have to measure detergent for every wash. The setup of the control panel is also well thought out with it organized into the categories where you choose WHAT you are washing and HOW you want to wash it. There are still other features that I have yet to explore with the steam options and drying and I am sure they will not disappoint. Over the years, as I have tried other brands, Whirlpool has become my favorite manufacturer of major appliances because of their reliability.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall, outstanding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this dryer now for about a month and have been able to really try it out. I like it and getting more familiar with the various settings, I like it and recommend it to others. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because some of the loads had to be dried more after they completed the “recommended” or default settings left the clothes damp. Granted it could have been operator error, however, my old Whirlpool Duet set didn’t have the same degree of problem.

Great Features

The fabrics have a brand new appearance and feel super soft. I love the touch controlled options based on the type of fabric being dried, as well as the 15 minute quick dry option! Thanks Whirlpool for the ingenuity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The touch control is a lot different than my old machine. With this one, I have to push harder to get it start. The steam refresh button is very difficult to push, and water collects by pedestal drawer when using steam refresh.

Dryer Steam leaks Water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The steam feature leaks water past the door onto the floor. Called Whirlpool service and next day Diamond Express was here to fix the problem. The Technician called Whirlpool Engineering and was told “user should add more garments to the dryer load. Steam feature is for medium and large loads.” We have used the steam with very large to normal loads and it still leaks water past the door. Whirlpool engineering won’t admit there are problems with this model. Would not recommend this model.

Quiet and lots of room in tub
