Love the Steam and Quick Options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only been using my dryer for about a month. I do like it, but the cycles are soooooo long. My washer (also new and Whirlpool) also has very long cycles. I especially like the steam cycles on my washer and dryer. I use them all the time. I am happy with the wrinkle guard results, too. Maybe later I would rate the pair five stars.

Nice but Very Noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice features, once I learned how to use them, but the dryer is very noisy. Even when empty, it makes a loud, rhythmic and constant knocking noise throughout the cycle - loud enough to hear from the other end of my house. I have confirmed that the dryer is level and is not touching the washer or walls surrounding it. It is brand new, so not likely to have a worn belt. The installer stated that this sound is normal for all dryers, though this is not indicated in the online manual or written documentation that came with the dryer. My previous dryer was an old Kenmore (made by Whirlpool). The only noise made by that dryer was the humming of the motor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

From and older Whirlpool to a new one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a 17 year old Whirlpool washer and dryer set with this new one. The old one was a dream. Had I kept up with the dryer vent cleaning I would still have it. I love the extra capacity as my old one was smaller. this one is definitely smarter. Seems like the sensors are more accurate and my clothes come out better. They don't seem to be over dried as they used to be. Like the dryer knows when to stop heating up and over drying. They also seem to dry faster. I say seem as I'm not measuring time or moisture or anything but overall my clothes are nicer to the feel and less wrinkled.

Not the quietest
