Outrageously Loud

I bought this dryer after my beloved 20 year old Kenmore dryer died a month ago. It matches my washer and I was hoping for a similar experience from my previous dryer, since it was made by Whirlpool. This is so outrageously loud! I don't understand how a dryer could be this noisy. I'm guessing they saved money and removed whatever sound dampening material used to be in the models 20 years ago. Just plain disappointing.

You Could Do Better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It just doesn't dry very well. The "normal" setting goes for an hour and half and the clothes aren't completely dry.

Complicated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two weeks after installation and the dryer will not run a complete cycle. It stops before loads are dry. Dryer will dry clothes after repeated stopping and starting. Matter was reported to Ferguson where I purchased the dryer 4 day ago, they reported to Whirlpool, but still waiting for a technician to call me to schedule repair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a Whirlpool Front Loaded Washer & Dryer, I am extremely happy with mines, I am very happy that I made the investment, I’m completely satisfied. Love the look, the style, ALL the features, and the wash is fantastic, my son just this morning told me, “mom I love how the washer works, my clothes are much cleaner and the smell last a lot longer, than when I used to go to the laundry”. He said mom, u made a excellent choice. So thank you Whirlpool.

Too loud and doesn’t dry the first go around.

It is LOUD, unusually loud and in all reality it may not be working properly and I’ll be calling the warranty department. I was the first to use it as it is brand new. I have to put everything on a second cycle because it doesn’t dry completely in the 1st even on the “more dry” setting.
