No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Outrageously Loud

I bought this dryer after my beloved 20 year old Kenmore dryer died a month ago. It matches my washer and I was hoping for a similar experience from my previous dryer, since it was made by Whirlpool. This is so outrageously loud! I don't understand how a dryer could be this noisy. I'm guessing they saved money and removed whatever sound dampening material used to be in the models 20 years ago. Just plain disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a Whirlpool Front Loaded Washer & Dryer, I am extremely happy with mines, I am very happy that I made the investment, I’m completely satisfied. Love the look, the style, ALL the features, and the wash is fantastic, my son just this morning told me, “mom I love how the washer works, my clothes are much cleaner and the smell last a lot longer, than when I used to go to the laundry”. He said mom, u made a excellent choice. So thank you Whirlpool.

Whirlpool dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dryer for a month. This dryer is much quieter than my previous dryer but it doesn't dry as well and some loads take longer to dry. The drying time can take over 90 - 105 minutes for a load of towels and a load with jeans in it. It would be nice if the add time on the dryer let me adjust the dryness. Being new to this dryer it isn't always intuitive to me which setting to choose.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best dryer ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for our new house and was unsure because of the last one we bought years ago did not dry well. This one has changed our minds again dries everything very quick and being On a pedestal makes it easier as we age

New dryer

I particularly like the quick dry feature so that I can choose how long I want items to dry.
I do wish, however, that there was a louder sound when the dryer was finished.
