Brand new and very loud

New dryer delivered today (i will be calling store tomorrow), it is incredibly loud. I don’t believe it is supposed to be so loud, it can be heard throughout entire house. everyone came out of rooms thinking something was wrong in the house. it’s not banging, it’s just an incredibly loud noise as it spins. i truly hope that this is something faulty and the when it is replaced, the next one won’t be this loud, because whoa. I will update my review after I receive replacement.

It Sounds Like a Jet Taking Off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this dryer along with several other appliances installed by Whirlpool through our purchase of a new construction. It's been installed and in use for about three weeks, and I honestly dread turning it on every time. IT'S SO LOUD. Something has to be wrong with it but I'm waiting for the company to get back about my service request. If we have company over and I run it, I'm met with concerned looks and "Oh my gosh, is it supposed to do that??" My cats dive under the couch. A pit opens in my stomach every time I hold that stupid button and watch the little count down 3...2...1 BLLAAAAAMMMMMMM. Nonstop for an hour.
Hopefully Whirlpool will fix it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't dry fully

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer a month ago and have been disappointed that I have to consistently add more time to the drying cycle to get clothes to dry fully.

Loud. No internal light. No touch up feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The model I had wanted was on indefinite back order and not available. I was told that Whirlpool was recommending this as a substitute. It does not dry completely. Most loads have to be put in twice. It is loud. There is no interior light. There is no cycle to touch up clothes that are wrinkled.

It has an extremely loud dryer tumble ambient noise, sounds like sheet metal grinding against each other. The dryer sense technology is terrible. I always have to put dryer setting to Timed Dry because any other setting will not completely dry my clothes. It’s got potential, but has some rough edges.

This dryer tries too hard. If the economy boost button is activated, your clothes aren't going to dry. Also, the buttons have stopped working and there's visible moisture inside the control panel. It won't even power on anymore, but before it just completely went dark, it was flashing eroor codes, and the time would change on its own to 2 hours, or if I set it to 40 minutes, it actually took more like an hour and a half and the timer was going really slow. One minute was almost three minutes. It looks sleek, but having electric buttons on it was probably a bad idea.
