perfect for 2 year old son

Bought this for my son and he loves it! With the weather improving i wanted something that would entertain him and keep him outside! There is a battery operated doorbell that he loves to push. Additionally the shutters are easy to open and close and he loves to pretend cook at the sink and counter. Great playhouse!

This was bought for my son's second birthday. He absolutely loves it. I love seeing him be creative and use his imagination with the door bell, sink and phone inside.

This little home met all expectations

I purchased this for my granddaughters 2nd birthday. She was thrilled and plays in it every day. Can't wait to decorate for each holiday with her. Built beautifully and durable. Thanks Step 2 .

Great product!

We purchased this used from a friend. Her daughter had played with it and enjoyed it for many years before it was passed along to us. My son loves it. The phone was missing and the stickers are a bit faded, but the house has otherwise held up in very good condition. I called and ordered new stickers and a new phone today and both were VERY reasonably priced. Great company!

Disappointed but hoping for the best

This playhouse was purchased for a toddler class and I think they will enjoy it. It's probably only going to hold 2-3 at a time and if I have time I will probably take out the "sink" to aid the space issue inside.Assembling bookcases, desks and toys is part of my responsibility and experience, so finding these plastic pieces with 1.25" screws and no other securing mechanisms was surprising, but more frustrating was the discovery of no predrilled holes and in 4-5 places no indication for screws. Yes, I assembled it with a manual screwdriver but it was unnecessarily frustrating and in a few cases the screws didn't even catch the adjoining part to secure them together. I had a higher opinion of Step 2 before my experience with the cottage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My 16 month old loves it!

Great house for toddlers, my 16 month old son loves it! I carried it up my stairs and put it together by myself after he went to bed. It took about 2 hours for me. I used a drill along with the screwdriver and I can't imagine doing it without a drill. Overall the assembly was pretty easy. I'm hoping to buy a tarp or something to protect it because I know the sun can really discolor it. We love it though!

Fun cottage but the rain water does not drain

My grandgirls love this cottage and so do the boys that come by, but I’m constantly having to tip it to get the water out that’s standing. I worry about mosquito larvae and breeding. It was not easy to assemble and uneven because I wasn’t forceful enough with the screwdriver.
