Love the watch

Had the watch for about a week now. I was debating between the Forerunner 245 and this one. I went with this one because I honestly liked the look better and it had a better feel to me. I am by no means a superstar athlete but do run and wanted something with spotify and GPS. It is heavy but I like that and I feel like I can not worry about bumping into walls and scratching it.

Overall excellent, close to perfect

Hardware is bulletproof, software is excellent. I wish for more customizable watch faces (every hand choice should work with every dial, should be able to control color choice for every watch hand, etc.). Screen readability in sunlit is outstanding, would optimally wish for a bit higher resolution- but not at the expense of battery life.
Overall, however, the build quality & fitness data provided is without peer. I like it so much, I decided to buy the new MARQ Aviator as an additional piece for more formal situations.

Amazing watch loaded with feature but...

The only gripe I have is the glass is softer than any other watch I have previously had. While I now understand the benefit of the Sapphire glass, I have owned a Suunto Core 2 for 5 years and dropped it, knocked it, and nothing. I bumped into the corner of a counter top and I now have an inch long scratch across the glass. It is disappointing to spend this much money on something and two days after getting it it's damaged.

Watch is great, supporting apps are not

I bought my Fenix 5 Plus about 4 days ago. Getting it set up was a big pain. The watch, web app and the native app are not integrated very well and are hard to use. The experiences are different and not intuitive. So far the watch itself is working well and as expected.

The HR does noy work properlly

the HR incorporated into the watch does not work well.
I have tried it in all ways and the difrenrencias are enormous.
What can you do about it?
I am a Garmin user many years ago, this is the 5 garmin watch I buy and I am very disappointed with the built-in HR.

Love the watch. I love the look of the watch. I use it primarily for mountain biking and golf. Still trying to figure out all it can do. I would definitely recommend it for anyone that is active and likes to track their activities.

If you are data driven, than this device will not disappoint. Between all the health metrics, planning and updating marathon training, this device makes it simple to use and understand the results. Having a golf distance device when playing is a real benefit as well. Highly recommend this device.
