Good features but very poor screen display

It has some good features but the screen brightness is very poor. Not happy with it.

The watch face is designed to be sunlight readable, and you can easily adjust the backlight brightness setting or turn on options such as gesture which would turn on the backlight when the watch was raised to view it

Lots of features and feels like a good quality

First week with the watch and little bit of a learning curve compared to my old Apple Watch but really enjoy the features more and the quality seems like it’s built to last as my apple feel apart and screen broke and the sensor cracked which naturally I’m a construction worker so a little tough on it, but enjoy running. Seems like the right fit for me.

Not intuitive

Just had the watch for a week but besides the defaults, haven’t yet figured out much else. Got the manual off the web and tried to get ready to see how the golf app worked. Downloaded the course... set the watch to golf.... nothing. No distances, I don’t know how to get it to work. Guess I need a lot more time to figure out how it works. Does give me notifications, which I’ll try to figure out how to stop. I suspect it’s a great device... if I can figure it out!

Cumbersome navigation. No credit card use for citi
on April 27, 2019

The manual is lacking detailed instruction. Had trouble exiting and exercise and going to the next one. Also the wallet does not take citi bank/costco card. No clock face while in an activity. I bike to work so it would be nice to know the time.

Sorry you were having problems. If you wanted more information than was in the manual we encourage you to visit our support center.: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?productID=552982&tab=topics
Garmin Pay is compatible with many major cards and banks. Although support for certain credit cards are at the responsibility of the issuing bank.
You can view the time while in an activity such as bike. You would need to go into your settings on the activity and you can modify one of several data fields to show the clock.

Everything you need and more!

I have used this for TWO DAYS now and it's everything I read about and more. I haven't used to as much as I have liked but everything is easy to use. My first Garmin watch for a simple runner and gym user. I see so many functions that I'm going to get up and do it for fun.

Fantastic workout device.

I've had this less than a week, but the all day HR combined with the amazing workout tracking (road riding, mountain biking, strength training for me, mostly) and the high level of customization are about perfect.
I love the ability to have music without having to bring my phone,
I love the way it presents all the information it gathers, making it ready to see where you are at (literally with maps and figuratively with your fitness).
Only downside so far and the reason for a 4 instead of a 5 is the elevation isn't too accurate at least with just GPS in the mountains. I've enabled GPS + Galileo and if that is more accurate, I'll update the review.
