Exploring both Worlds

After holding off literally since the debut of the Fenix3, I have finally took the leap and purchased a Fenix5 Plus. - Let me tell you I am very impressed with the first 72 hours of ownership. Packed with too many features to list, I'm anxious to try out the various activities available. While I'm not exactly a gadget-geek, I was able to grasp the on-screen navigation with relative ease. The buttons and their respective actions are intuitive yet simple to understand. There is a plethora of apps from developers to cater to pretty much anything you could want. Currently I'm still exploring that world while loving the use of my Fenix5 to explore the natural world!

I’ve only had it a couple of days and absolutely love it. For everything it does it simple to set up and get started. I’ve only scratched the surfaces of its capabilities. Can’t wait to figure out all its features!

WAY MORE AWESOME THAN I EXPECTED

I purchased my fenix to replace an old Sunto that I was using, mostly for heart rate when running and riding. I had been using my phone for most other features like distance, mph, etc, but not doing anything when hiking, skiing, etc. This unit does it all. Fits well, long battery life and easy to use.

Could easily be 5 stars but...

As always built quality and looks are great. Even though the software has a 1000 functions they are easy to find. All those functions also have a downside, bugs. The watch has its quirks, for example measuring vo2max and training effect is cumbersome. Many people complain about heart rate measuring accuracy. And battery duration is definitely an issue. I'm sure these are all software related so please Garmin, do a better job fixing them.

Highest Quality and durability.

I’ve owned several Fenix watches. The Fenix 5 plus is built so well. It is rugged, durable and stylish. I wear it 24/7 at the office, working out and sleeping. These watches are the best GPS/outdoor sport watches on the market by a long shot. Garmin hit a home run with this one.

1st GARMIN, and I am in love!

Had an eyeWatch for 4 years (2 and a 4) and just got tired of all the 'glitches!' When I learned of Bluetooth and music capabilities, ALONG with Nike app (what I use) 'mergability' I jumped ship! Glad I did, have had it 3 days, pretty simple to learn, just hassle free, GPS is perfect, LOTS of data to better my running. Can hardly wait to take on a hike...SO HAPPY I GOT THIS WATCH!!!
