Watch is good but charging port and cable issues

I brought this couple of months ago, and the watch itself is fine, but the charging cable or the port seems to be faulty. Have to adjust it a few times for it start charging and have to leave it in that position with out moving it a bit. It seems to be loose as well not sure it the design is as such or my piece is faulty. Definitely did not expect this type of quality for the price, and I am a bit disappointed.

Great Device but Staggering Price

I work in the woods, exercise and run dogs for hunting and this watch has been a great addition. I use it for navigation, tracking workouts and it even pairs with my dogs tracking collars so I can monitor their locations on the internal map right on the watch face. I like to look at heart rate and stress too. I I feel the battery life is good given the broad range of functionality. The only thing... Very expensive. I'm glad I have it, but if I ever broke it, or it was stolen, I don't think I would buy it again. Therefore 4 stars.

I’ve owned this watch since August of 2018 and have worn it daily since purchasing it. Thousands of miles and millions of steps
(until covid closed down the World, Grrr!) Hoping that 2022 gets me back on track!! The Garmin Connect app is AWESOME and it pairs perfectly with the My Fitness app!

Reliable and Excellend

I have had this watch since it was released in 2018. I have worn it every day, without fail since then. I swap between the metal band and the rubber or fabric bands using the quick fit system, which is very reliable and convenient. I pair it with my HRM chest strap when cycling and the watch is accurate enough that I don't even need a bike computer. I also use it to track hikes, kayaking, trail runs and any other activity i can think of. It also tracks my sleep and resting heart rate, a great metric for health. I can't recommend it enough. As much as I want the newest Fenix every year, my 5 plus is still great.

Indestructible? Legally, no. But yes!

Well, I've abused this thing unintentionally. I've had it for a little more than a year now and it looks 99% new. Only a few very minor scrates on the surface of the metal coating. The sapphire has held up way beyond what I ever imagined it could. Seriously. I've smashed this thing working on cars, trucks, and military vehicles. It can take a beating and keep on going. It's water proof in the shower or washing it clean if you got it super dirty. The bands are ultra fast to swap, but that's even extremely durable. I wanted a color change so I got a green band. 15 seconds of swapping and I was done. Watch face options are awesome! Buttons are super easy to push but not too bad on bumps. Navigation through the menus is great. Settings are easy to find. Overall, I love this watch. The tracking and app sync are great and it's fun to see how many stairs and steps I take each day in comparison to my wife. Friendly competition, of course.
I would absolutely spend my money on this watch countless times again. I plan to upgrade to the 7 sapphire in the future, although the titanium 6 is extremely tempting visually.

Excellent Watch for Runners

I use this watch everyday. It tracks my heart rate, sleep cycles, stress level and intensity levels. It's also great for tracking my runs. The GPS is excellent and it stores my favorite running music.
