Bad Battery Life

I went from the Fenix 5S and loved it so I upgraded to the Fenix 5S Plus. I never had issues with the 5S but the 5S Plus has a really bad battery life. It used 2% immediately after charging. I spent a day at an Amusement park and only used the steps, HR, stress, clock functions and by the end of the day, the battery drained to 67%. On the 5S, it would take a couple days to use that much battery. Also, the watch kept having issues with the time, day, step count, and often started activities all on it own.
I hope it can all be fixed with a software update.

Basic connection fail

I bought this a few days ago but cannot get it to connect to Connect IQ even though it connects to Garmin Connect. Thus I cant use many features. I tried resetting the watch twice - but only succeeded in loosing most of the apps that were preloaded on it

The Fenix 5s plus comes with so many features to analyze workouts and fitness level. The widgets and apps are amazing. I loved it so much I highly recommended it to my training partners. Three of them bought their own after seeing what it could do.

Love this watch

I’ve only had it about a week, haven’t figured out all the cool things it can do, but the few I have I love. Let’s talk training effect - knowing if you’re progressing or maintaining your aerobic and anaerobic ability. Knowing how much time to take to let your body recoup between intense workouts. Haven’t explored the Maps yet but looking forward to it.

I recently purchased the fenix 5S Plus and couldn't be more happy with this investment. It tracks everything from my kickboxing classes to morning spin, trail runs on the weekends, to afternoon open water swims. I love it. Very happy. Excited to try it on a hike this summer.

GPS distance and altitude all wrong

Bought this a month ago for my big trip in Nepal. Guess what?? Firmware was not the latest even though it was a new watch. GPS distance and altitude all over the place, like 300m higher than my friend's 935, seriously????So disappointed!!

Sorry you had a negative experience. The firmware in the watch is loaded at time of manufacture and the watch may have been at the dealer shelf for a while. You can keep your software current using the Garmin Connect Mobile app.
