Super Upgrade From Moto MaXX

Held off on this review about a month hoping that Motorola would fulfill it's special under which the phone was purchased. It was bought with an online special that should have included both the added battery and speaker attachments. Came with the battery but no speaker and nothing has showed up. Will attempt contact with Motorola.
To the phone. The added features, some by Andriod and others by the phone taking advantage of Andriod features, are stunning, even a bit overwhelming. I'm not one to have used voice commands in the past but, with minor training, this phone accommodates voice input quite adequately ... and I'm learning that it is much faster than trying to type on a small phone keyboad.
It is a great phone but I'm still learning and will be for a while probably overlooking some valuable features. A couple distractions ... one, the Google feed takes up one of the 3 screens and I've yet to determine how to turn the feed off. Too, the Z3 has one less screen than on the Maxx ... why? I suppose that now being able to embed icons removes the need for the 4th screen but I find that cumbersome ... perhaps some adjustment on my part. Secondly, there does not exist a belt holder that will accommodate the added battery though the primary batter lasts longer than I anticipated. Not a heavy user so I typically get 2 days from the primary battery. However, I'm unable to use the added battery with the holder I'm used to. But the battery charges fast - within an hour compared to many hours for the Maxx though the Maxx battery was beginning to show its age.
Three ways exist to unlock the phone ... fingerprint (with training), pin, and facial recognition. I'm unsure the reliability of the facial recognition but it works for me most of the time and is very convenient. Doesn't seem to matter if I have my readers on or not.
One of the primary incentives for purchasing his phone is the implied growth with use of G5 on the horizon. The Z3 accommodates the G5 technology with an adapter attachment so I'm anticipating the phone will serve my purposes for years into the future ... but who knows with technology moving so fast.
In spite of a few distractions, I find this phone well worth the investment when compared to competitors. Not sure I'll reach its maximum potential but I'll continue to grow and become more efficient with all these new features. I've often thought where will it all end starting with the days I taught a graduate level introductory course on cell technology in the late 70's. The affects on our social makeup have been stunning ... some good, some bad but mostly on the favorable side.
The Z3 play 4 star rating is only a reflection of the lack of fulfilling the the weekend special contract under which the phone was ordered. This comment is in spite of the guidelines to concentrate on the phone itself; the transaction deserves attention as well. The phone itself gets 5 stars in spite of the few distractions mentioned above.

Bought this a few weeks ago. Wanted an up-to-date phone and one that had all the bells and whistles I needed. Got the battery mod and have a 360 camera coming. I plan on buying a phone that is compatible with all carriers and moto fits the description. Fast with smooth scrolling plus the screen size is good for the eyes. You can't go wrong with this phone.

The phone is nice but the battery is not what it should be and the fingerprint sensor is in an a terrible place on the phone. Considering the price of the phone it should have been better.

Unbelievable battery life!

This phone's performance is super snappy, and the battery life is excellent so far. It comes with a battery pack, but I don't think I will need it very often.

Got it about 2 weeks ago really good who processes a lot of stuff at once. Little displeased with the battery though doesn't last as long as the E4 plus does. E4 plus's 5000 milliamp batteries a good thing
