[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this toy a month ago and were really surprised with how big the T-rex really is. It truly is a large toy, which does make it hard to store. It's awesome how many smaller dinosaurs it is able to eat, but if you don't have any then you have to purchase more because it comes with none. The stomach door to empty the dinosaurs is difficult to open and took me opening it for our 4 year old. We were bummed to find out that the t-rex didn't make any noise either. But that did not stop my son from playing with it. I would like to note that it does not stay upright well and falls over a lot as well as one of the legs always falls off. Overall its not a bad toy just room for improvement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love it I was at target a saw it, but good It was so big bigger than I what you would think, I love it and the top jaw will not work any more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this toy. He played with immediately and continues to play with it daily. He loves that this dinosaur can eat other dinosaurs and has taken it from room to room playing with it. This has quickly become his favorite toy. It was easy to put together we did have a small problem getting the leg to stay on, but that was basically user error. Since then we haven’t had a problem with the legs popping off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my grandson about a week ago. He was really excited he has the biggest trex ever. It is big and well built, but it doesn’t really do anything special. You can put things in its mouth and it falls out the bottom. This is why I gave it a 4 star. He loves it and has played with it every day. It’s a five star for him.

We bought this for our son’s birthday and he just couldn’t stop playing with it. We actually got the battle damage version in our area, not the plain, but it is still amazing. We have had no issues with any of the mini dinosaurs getting stuck. The legs have a soft lock in place that prevents it from sliding out of position. The only thing that does not make sense to me is the ankles have some articulation. Being able to turn the feet does not aid in the poses. Everything else is spot on. This Colossal T-Rex has been something that we have needed in the toy market for a really long time. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for 2 weeks and my sons 4 & 7 have literally played with every second I will let them! They do their homework quickly so they can get back to it & get up before breakfast to sneak in some play with it. They gave their own review & this is what they said:
Pro’s: It’s amazing! We love the big size! We love that he can eat a lot of other toys! We were so surprised they went into his belly!!!! He’s really hard plastic and seems really tough. He looks like a well made dinosaur! We like his colors. He’s heavy!!! We love him, it’s the best dinosaur we have ever seen!!
Cons: We were sad he didn’t come with any dinosaurs to eat. We had to figure out what would go in & not get stuck. His belly was hard to open to get the toys out so our mom had to open it. I think we are figuring out our though. He really only eats and his tail moves at the end. He doesn’t do anything with batteries so you have to move him and make your own sounds but he’s still amazing!!!
We are 4 & 7 year old boys & we would recommend this. Just buy some dinosaur for them to eat before you give it to the birthday or Christmas kid. This toy is the best dinosaur ever! Thanks Mattel for sending it to us to review!!

Cool toy but didn't work

I bought this 3 days ago. Great toy but didn't roar. Store thought it needed new batteries. I bought anyway since it says the batteries are for demonstration purposes only. After replacing batteries it still didn't work. I looked inside closely and the speaker looks burnt. I couldn't see until it was completely removed from the box. Walmart didn't have anymore to replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
