Not good for outside in the elements

Have had this camera as part of a NVR system for over a year, and the spotlight camera has developed condensation inside the lens casing. Wouldn't recommend if you need a camera system to still operate beyond its warranty date.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Based on the information and image provided, your cameras my have exceeded their recommended operating temperature. This can/will lead to permanent damage or condensation within the lens. This camera can be used in temperatures of -22°F ~ 131°F or -30°C ~ 55°C.

Good but not great

I bought this camera a few months ago and it seems that the image quality quickly degraded and it has never been able to see in the dark. My other 885 cameras have excellent night vision but this camera cant seem to turn the IR leds on. Also sensitivity of the camera is patchy at best. My wife can park her car and get out and come in the house before the light comes on. In the day it is great. Not happy with this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Based on the information provided, you may want to check the line that currently runs from the camera to the recorder. It is possible that is has since become damaged and will need to be replaced. Really love this camera

You can speak to it and hear it through camera. The light will come up when it got triggered. I am glad to get this camera for my front door.
I like the system and the analytics. However after installing 6 of them, 4 were blurry the first night from condensation in them... making them useless...

Although IP66 weatherproof, the outside of the camera is still subject to frost, ice and dew when out in the open air. We recommend you install under some sheltered location where possible but if this is not suitable for your location simply aiming the camera to look a little downward can stop moisture from settling on the camera lens. Swann offers a one-year warranty provided a copy of your receipt or up to 36 months with valid registration on a Secure + Plan. Outside of this timeframe, we are unable to process a replacement free of charge.
