The doorbell is right next to our router and the WiFi signal across the house is good. But if someone rings the door and I want to use the app to see who it is it takes to long to load the screen and by the time i can see a picture the person has gone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Completely useless constantly offline if you do get a notification it goes offline again so you recieve a photo 10 minutes later off an empty door, i even had a bt engineer out to check my wifi connections which were all fine and this product still never worked!!!! Sent back for refund

Worked for about a month, dropped off WiFi, four hours of trying to reset it and back on WiFi, now it’s just a doorbell,,,,sometimes.

Take into consideration the number of walls the Wi-Fi signal must pass through and their construction. The more solid the building material or the more metal the signal must pass through the more impact it has on the Wi-Fi signal. Also, take note of electrical equipment and other appliances that may affect the Wi-Fi signal. Some experimentation with locations may be required to get the optimal signal, check the signal strength in the app to give you a guide on the most suitable placement options.
