[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 6 cu/ft freezer that we have outgrown. I bought the largest energy efficient freezer of the day - these big ones were not even tested back then or the results were too bad to publish. So I started searching after two years of having an energy efficient freezer stuffed to the gills.
From 6+ to nearly 20 cu/ft....I am taller than it is long, I can easily reach over the freezer (but I do have a large 'wingspan', and I really like the springs on the lid door that hold it open. I was skeptical of the led light - but it illuminates all the baskets. It only came with two and you could fit 5 in there - we purchased 2 more for a total of 4 and have plenty of room to slide them to reach underneath. Although it sounds small by my description, it really is roomy while being easy to access!
The baskets could be 1/2 to 1 inch longer, they slip too easily off the inside of the freezer - but I guess they minimized the basket lip so it didn't interfere with the door seal. You need a good seal, but picking a full basket up from where it fell on your frozen stores below is a pain - so Frigidaire could improve on that design quirk.
I have several rectangular "milk crates" (legally purchased) that fit with nearly 2 inches to spare - they hold all my stores below the baskets keeping like items (vegetables, meats, frozen fruits) in a small space where I can go through them and get what I need. Heck, they keep most things where I don't have to rummage to get them - a great time saver. Plus the milk crate design means everything freezes quickly, no walls blocking the chill!
I've had one fit problem with this freezer: I did have to adjust the middle hinges that were slightly skewed from each other. The middle of the lid against the hinges looked perfect but was leaking enough for frost to appear in that one spot after 2 days. After my adjustment, the entire seal area is free of frost. Oh - if you are not sure about what I'm talking about and have one or more areas forming a lot of frost (not just the little glistening of frost over the coils in the walls), call the service department where you bought your freezer. Everyone wants the customer to be happy and a perfect freezer - if it exists - is the goal. This Frigidaire comes close enough to make me happy, I love the wheels and compactness of such a huge freezer! Just Awesome!

Huge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this freezer after our ancient one died. It is huge! I love that I can fit so much stuff in it! Seems to run well and keep the appropriate temperature. The only thing that would make this better is if the baskets were styled better to fit. You have to set them in so perfectly or they fall. Fix that and you get 5 stars.
