Ok it working, but you can tell its cheaply made and designed for a couple of years use. I have a old frigidaire that around 10 years old that still working and you can tell the difference in quality, material used and wall thickness.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this freezer a year ago. It tends to frost heavily, more so than our older chest freezer. Once emptied I moved the freezer to clean underneath and I noticed mold all over our floor. We have never had a freezer do this.
We tipped the freezer up to look underneath to see what was going on and were appalled at the fact that the bottom consists of blown in lumpy insulation covered with fiberglass cloth. No true solid bottom underneath. Our older freezers all have metal sheeting for the bottom. The fiberglass bottom was drippy and moldy as well.
Obviously this freezer is not insulated well and we're getting condensation dripping off the bottom of the freezer onto our floor. This freezer is in our home and in climate controlled conditions. The baskets also fall off the edge of the freezer easily. We have no choice but to remove this freezer from our home so our floors don't end up ruined. We were told this freezer was made in the USA. It is not. It's made in China.
I will never buy another Frigidaire freezer again.

Hello, Creme Brulee.
We appreciate your review and valuable feedback.
I feel awful to learn of the recent experience with your freezer.
It appears your chest freezer has a manual defrost feature.
Here are some preventive tips that may help control the frost build up in the future and possible mold/mildew. Your appliance is designed to accumulate frost; it is important to defrost and clean your freezer when ¼ to ½ inch of frost has accumulated. Frost may tend to accumulate faster on the upper part of the freezer due to warm, moist air entering the freezer when the door is opened. We recommend draining your freezer periodically to prevent mold or mildew.
I do show your freezer is produced by our international partners; it is designed within the United States.
Feel free to reconnect should the above suggestions prove ineffective; our team will be happy to assist you further. Our Customer Care Department can be reached by dialing 888 203 1389 and available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am-8 pm EST.
Regards- Derrick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now I can buy meats on sale without worrying about being able to get it fit in the freezer, and still have room for ice cream! It’s wonderful! Best advice I can give you is to buy a few dollar store laundry baskets to help keep organized! Enjoy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first 20 cu ft class chest freezer. The height is lower than the 15 ft units making it easier to reach bottom. It replaced a dying 18 yr old chest, I pleased at how quickly it reached and maintained zero degrees. I miss the alarm feature common to many smaller freezers. I guess that's a more competitive market. My old freezer's alarm saved me hundreds of dollars so I'm looking for one to add to this unit. If you have the space for a freezer this big, you will enjoy the extra capacity.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Freezer, but needs some additional features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this freezer to replace a Sears Kenmore chest that we only had for about 5-6 yrs which had the compressor go out on. This new one is great in appearance etc, but we have only had it for about a month. So we will see how it holds up, anything less than 15+ yrs for a chest freezer is unacceptable. If its lasts less than 15 yrs, then its due to engineered obsolescence. This freezer came with a caster kit which is nice, but only has locking casters on the left side, it needs locking casters on both sides for safety reasons etc. This is a large freezer, its needs movable plastic dividers in the lower half to separate the sections. We are using old milk crates as an alternative. All chest freezers should have a temperature alarm, this one has none built in. In today's age it would be great to have a smart device temperature/power alarm which goes to an app on your phone. Looking into 3rd party device for such a purpose. But appliances with their electronics were seeing should come equipped to be a smart device to start with, communicating to your phone/tablet to be measuring efficiency, trouble shooting and diagnosing issues.
