Holy cow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this large chest freezer as we are in the process of buying a whole beef and needed a chest freezer that will handle the job. Not only is this freezer able to store a whole beef, it can store much more than that. It runs great and we are very happy with this purchase.

Much Bigger than I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased 19.8 Cu Ft online. I saw the 14 cu model but thought I needed something a little bigger. There is a substantial difference in size. I am a novice beekeeper and I need the size for freezing frames to keep the Wax Moths away. No problems with storing frames with this freezer. A few friends that hunt also mentioned this is the size they need for storing meat. For comments other than size, this is exactly what I need. Caster allow me to move it around easily in my garage. Two baskets allow for organization, I ma thinking about getting a third but my get in the way. Overall if you need a sizeable freezer, take a look at the 19.8cu.

Deep Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my freezer months after placing the order and many rescheduling issues on Frigidaire’s part. The freezer is huge and has plenty of room but is not designed for the Texas heat at all. I had to place a fan in front of the freezer to keep it from burning up and it couldn’t maintain a freezing temp with out it.

For the most efficient operation, the freezer should be located where surrounding temperatures will not exceed 110°F (43°C). Temperatures of 32°F (0°C) and below will NOT affect operation. Additional compressor heaters are not recommended.
Also, do not overpack the freezer, air flow within the unit is used to maintain the freezing temperature set. Lastly, Allow space around the unit for good air
circulation. Leave a 3 inch (75 mm) space on all sides of the unit for adequate circulation.
