[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New app for transferring content from old LG to new LG worked fast and completely, better than doing in store
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my LG3 so when it came time to replace my phone LG V40 was going to be my obvious choice. The phone is super fast and great sound quality. I am still learning all the different aspects of the phone. I see the LG8 will be coming out in a couple of days and I am wondering if I should have waiting longer to replace my old phone. Other than that no regrets! Thank you LG for another great product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to be a die hard HTC fan. The HTC 10 was my last phone of theirs. I wanted a new phone with an earphone jack, great audio and able to withstand dropping. Surprisingly, the camera wasn't that important. The earphone jack narrowed my field of choices. After reading many reviews, I chose the LG V40. I've had it for a week and so far, I really like it. The moroccan blue color is beautiful. The phone is bigger than the HTC 10 which isn't an issue. The audio is excellent. Earphone sound is great, and almost as good as the "10". The speaker phone is loud & clear except for one problem. When I finish a sentence, there is a short quiet period. If the person you're talking to answers quickly, you cannot hear the first word they say. It is annoying. It also is capable of charging with Qualcomm fast charge 4. Unfortunately, it comes with the older, slower Qualcomm 3. There is no mention of upgrading the charger when it becomes available. When spending $900 for a phone, the correct charger should be included. There are a few other minor issues that may be the phone or possibly Android 8.1. (My last phone had Android 8) They are not worth mentioning. All totaled, it is an excellent phone; fast, cool, and lots of storage. I'm happy with my choice.
I would recommend this to a friend!
