I'm easily annoyed by everything when I get new tech. My last phone (Samsung S8) I wanted to throw into a river. The only phone I was ever 100% happy with was the HTC One, which unfortunately died soon after my purchase many years ago.
I had the opportunity to get a new device while my S8 was still being paid off. I did a ton of research and went with the new LG. It's now been over 6 months and I'm comfortable saying I'm only buying LG products from here on out. It works. They haven't compromised the phone's performance by allowing partner companies to litter it with bloatware. No nannyware. No Bixby. The speakers work properly. The mic is excellent. The cameras are fantastic. It's the perfect size. It charges quickly and lasts forever.
It's the perfect phone. Well done and thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this phone because I was wanting a change from the Galaxy line of phones. Coming from a Note 8 I'm shocked at how responsive and speedy the phone is. I love the fact LG has gone with more google apps instead of in house ones. It really makes the phone feel more like stock android. The triple camera setup on the back takes really nice photos. That combined with the LG promise of 2 year warranty on the device makes this a very nice flagship android device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from the V20 to the V40 as a Christmas present to myself. I was going to upgrade to the v30 but was not impressed with the reviews. I absolutely loved my Lg V20 and the second screen was a key feature I use often. The V30 reviews were subpar and seemed more like a downgrade than an upgrade so I chose to just wait I was in no hurry.(Im not one to have to have the latest just because its there) My screen was cracked but not to a point It affected the use or viewability so I waited. Im so glad I did this is the first phone I have upgraded to that was less than a year or 2 past release date so I was expecting it to be everything Lg claimed it to be plus. I was not disappointed although it would of been nice if it would have came with a set of headphones no biggie . This phone is awesome I have not had any problem s with it so far I love the way they modified the second screen so that it can be a fixed or moveable widget on the sidebar of your choice. The customization options are awesome. Its fast Ive not expierenced any type of lag even with a few apps open at once. Easily connects wirelessly. The sound is supurb especially with addition of the 3d sound in addition to hifi. And the extra mic is a plus. The screen is just right and movies and videos look awesome. I was looking to get a new motorola when I purchased my v20 I was not much on Lg in the past but I decided to give it a shot. Glad I did Lg has really stepped it up when it comes to quality and the ui I was very impressed so much so I will only have a Lg from now on. The 2nd year warranty is a plus it also shows how commited they have become to extraordinary products and customer satisfaction. They have leveled the playing field and became a worthy competitor in the phone industry. Watch out Samsung and Apple. LG is coming for you.

I upgraded to the LG V40 a couple of months ago and could not be happier with my purchase. This is my 4th LG phone to own. You just can't beat the quality workmanship and durability of LG phones. There are some camera features that I still have not familiarized myself with but that will come in time. Overall, I have great reception for my cellular coverage and very good WiFi reception.
