Awesome lights for car camping!

I string the lights around the handles in my 4Runner when I set it up for camping. The lights are bright and are super easy to charge with a portable battery or just leaving it on my roof during the day. Wish the port would be usb-c instead of the old micro usb but other then that I am happy.

Best lights ever!

We used a set last summer while camping without power. They were so great at lighting up the space and in such a fun way. We started using them anytime while camping even if do have power. We string a set up inside the travel trailer and outside the trailer also. We have purchased more for gifting.

I would buy this product again

We used the string lights outside for the first time last weekend and are so pleased with them. They are easy to put up and the different brightness options are great. The lights are easy to wind up and recharge also.

Fun gives lots of light

I strung this around a seating area in my tiny house. It gives a whimsical feel like fairy lights but enough light to read by. Only problem is that it takes a couple minutes to take down and roll up so I can put it out for charging. If you could situate it where it could charge in place that would be easier. The battery level indicator is a great improvement over their earlier Luci models.

Excellent product only 1 minor flaw

My wife and I have been using Luci lights in our travels in our newly converted mini-van camper. In the Canyonlands and Bryce Canyon of Utah to Sedona and Cottonwood Az and the Grand Canyon we have found the 'twinkle' lights to be a delightful addition to our camping ambiance. Whether strung up in the camper or on our picnic table they continuously bring a cheerfullnes to our meals or to reading. The only flaw is that the plastic strap for hanging quickly tore when unstrapping it. We have it jury-rigged with gorilla tape and glue. Still love the lights and just bought them for my son-in-law hunter/outdoorsman extroidinaire'. He too loves these lights

I want to love it but it's not perfect

The battery indicators light up to show you it is charging when you plug in the USB but you don't get any indication while it's charging solar. It also seems to take a VERY long time to fully charge. I think it might be the indicator. There is an animation the lights do to show it's still charging and if left plugged in all day I still see that animation at the end. The plastic hooks on the string are very helpful for wrapping it around a tree branch or camping gear but they are very flimsy plastic. I had one break immediately and it doesn't appear there would be a way to replace it. The light it provides is very bright and I love it when it is in use. The issues I had charging it and the broken hook prevent me from giving this 5 stars.

great product

I'm very impressed with this product. I not only use these when I camp but also to protect our vehicles from rats and mice. I live in a very remote and natural setting and rodents can be a real problem. I string one string light over the hood of each vehicle and it lasts all night keeping the rodents from chewing my wiring. I use the lantern lights in the glove boxes and interior of the cars. I have recommended this product to lots of people.

Love them... but

The lights are really great! Just don't let someone snag the line the soldered connection at each light will come apart. I wish there was more of a mechanical connection hold them together.
