Really good but could be great with one key improvement

I love these for camping adds ambience and convenience. The one thing that's missing? The ability to detach the light string from the charger. Three reasons why this would be a complete game changer: 1) for charging purposes. We set up the string in the frame of our dining tent. However we were camping in Sequoia so it was very shady. That meant having to unstring the lights every day so the charger could be placed in the sun. With the ability to disconnect we could have left the string in place and moved the charger where needed. 2) for the environment. Say you break the lights or the charger. No need to throw the whole thing out just buy a replacement part 3) multiple strings one charger. Say I'm done in the dining tent and I'm going to my own tent. I can disconnect the charger and reconnect to the string on my tent.

Had them for a year now they never hold charge

I was so incredibly excited to order these lights. I used them on my deck to enjoy nights with my mom in Northern California. However after 2-3 months I noticed that the lights weren't holding their charge from being charged with only solar so I started charging them with USB. Now I charge them for 2 straight days with USB and they only stay lit for ~2 hours. Very disappointed I hope that I can find a way to fix them otherwise I'll donate them and switch to another brand.

Best product ever!

I bought two string lights to go with my Luci Outdoor lights. I keep them charged for camping and our annual hurricane preparedness. Little did I know we would be without power for several days in Houston TX during the coldest February ever recorded. I had the Luci lights set up in our living room while we kept warm by the fireplace. Placed one set of string lights in our kitchen so we could cook on our gas stove and the other in our bathroom. The lights last forever when you run them on low beam and when they are on high beam we had no trouble navigating in our kitchen during the nighttime power outages. I sent all of my friends links to your site to tell them how great these are. They made a miserable experience bearable.

We really love these lights but broken after 2 vacations

We really love these lights. We hang it on the awning of our VW camper van. In the highest setting it provides enough light to read a book in the dark. Just perfect! Right now it sadly doesn't solar charge anymore. Only on usb. I also have the idea it functions a smaller amount of time on a full charge. Personally I think these lights should last for around 5 years when you only use them on your camping holiday. Ours lasted 2 years and are now half-half useable so I think the live span is to short for the money you pay. Kind regards Richard

It's my new favorite camping accessory

I actually really love this! I bought one for my brother as a gift after we used it on our last camping trip. It has three brightness levels. It can surely last 20 hours on lowest brightness settings. But on the brightest it lasted for maybe 6-8 hours or so. I love how easy it is to store and use. Great quality product!

I cannot recommend these enough. And trust me I never write reviews for things but these I cannot rave enough about. For the price too they're absolutely amazing. I live in my Tacoma full time and I've had bad luck with lighting especially in the temps I travel in. I have been in UT and CO for most of the winter in 15 degree weather and these puppies light it up and keep it for what feels like ever. I love the three brightness settings and I simply pop it outside my truck at the crag or wherever and they charge right up. If you're looking for a light easy reliable solution to van or truck life lighting you've found it! I even got my heater too close to one of the lights and it melted.... still works like a champ.

Built very well ease of use brightness of lights is nice. My only issue is the power button. It's too easy to unintentionally turn on. I put the string lights in a small backpack with clothes when I reached my destination I took out the string lights and they were turned on and almost out of power. This has happened a few times. So storing in a backpack is not idea. Power button needs to be a firmer press to power on.

Luci lights are great

The gift of Luci solar string lights (green) was well received! She loved it! It stayed lite for a very long time (it's only been unwrapped for less than a day) there are little connectors to hook the wires together it has 3 brightness settings the case is convenient and light the solar capabilities are great for camping you can even charge your phone. Very cool gift for a camper or backpacker.
