Engineering at its finest.

This is an absolute masterpiece. As an engineer I can’t help but appreciate how well this model is constructed. All of the components are sturdy and the mechanics work in perfect sync with each other. It amazes me how they can produce an 8 speed gearbox with a 16 piston engine entirely out of plastic!
I would definitely recommend this product, it’s well worth the money. It looks fantastic & the build keeps you interested throughout.

Best Lego build ever

Don't let the price scare you: this set is expensive, but worth it. No, I'm not getting paid to write this. I am just seriously impressed by this set.
Don't let the build time scare you either: it took me five days in total to finish the build, but obviously I did other things, too. I know, crazy isn't it that there is life outside of Lego? (And no, I'm not getting paid to say that either.)
Let me explain.
This is a challenging build, but designed and constructed with such an attention to detail that it was an utter joy. First of all, the packaging. Inside the box you have six separate boxes. Inside the boxes are numbered plastic bags. What this means is that you can build the Bugatti in separate sequences. Also, there is no confusion as to where the required parts are, as the bags are numbered sequentially. This is all clearly marked in the building instructions. You begin with box one, bags marked one, and move on.
This takes the irritation of searching for the parts out of the equation, while keeping the challenge of the build itself high. It's also pedagogic, as you have eleven instances of having accomplished something before you reach the final phase.
And the packaging itself... just beautiful. And I love the fact that when you open the box you are met with the front of the Chiron, and once the build is complete and the empty boxes are back inside the main box, it's the rear of the Chiron that is on display. Genius.
All in all this set just blew me away. After the Porsche 911 GT3 I thought there was no way I could feel as excited about a Lego set, but I was wrong. Like many of the others, I can't wait for the next one.

Insane detail, challenging, and AMAZING!

I bought this set a few weeks after I got the the newest Millenium Falcon set (that’s a story for another day). Upon receiving this set I began working on it. I shot a time lapse of the whole thing and plan to post a video on my YouTube channel. Overall, it took me a little over 13 hours to build. It’s definitely a challenging build, and during certain steps it was a bit tricky to join portions together. However, once everything is put together correctly, this machine is a beauty! My favorite part is how the pistons pump inside of the engine. Definitely worth while!

Easire build than the Porsche, lots of fun.

I originally was not going to get this set, however I went to see it and decided it was a set worth a try.
I started the build and worked on it a couple of hours a night. It is an easier build than the Porsche, and it is more satisfying. The design is good, the model is dense, there is not a lot of room to motorize it without removing other parts.
The model weighs a lot, it has some interesting challenges, and it is a lot of fun to put it together.
The color scheme is ok, the model is vey sturdy once completed, The engine being visible is a great feature.
The shift mechanism is nice, even though the transmission is not visible with the body put together.
The designer did a great job capturing the look and feel of the car, the build process was enjoyable even the way they actually marry the two halves of the car.
If you want a fun build, this is worth a try.

What a model!

This is an extremely addictive set to build and, once you've completed the most challenging Lego Technic set you're likely to have ever assembled, you'll want to keep this car in full view of everyone.
The total build took me 15 hours from start to finish (not in one go as my fiance would have called off the wedding!) and, despite not building a Lego set for well over 20 years, I was back to reliving my youth in a very short period of time.
The completed product is a masterpiece in Lego design and although the instructions can sometimes be tricky to follow when you're trying to find out where all the pieces go, they are very cleverly thought out.
I would highly recommend this set to anyone who loves Lego Technic and I'm looking forward to building my next set very soon.

Best Quality of LEGO
on July 24, 2018

This was probably the most amazing LEGO set I’ve ever gotten. I’ve been collecting LEGO sets for almost ten years and it goes a long way to say that this is my favorite set. I personally am not a fan of technic products. This is only the second technic product I’ve ever built with the Porsche being the first and I love these two. I loved the Porsche and I wondered if LEGO could make it better and they did with this set. The only issue I could find is not making an even number of pieces. My OCD kicks in wondering why it is 3599 and not 3600 pieces. I would definitely recommend this set.

Nice Build

Nicest packaging I have ever seen. Took me about 12 hours over the course of 3 days to complete. Great build experience. Definitely not meant for inexperienced builders. If I go by number of pieces, price is on the high side. The box itself is worth a few dollars. Lots of custom pieces like the rims, unique license plate for every individual set.
