This is the coolest lego set.

If you are an average Lego builder, do not attempt to build this, it will take you WEEKS! Like me, An expert builder, who has built at least 110 Lego sets, this even challenged ME.I bought this set with the intent of having a awesome 100th Lego set, and this was by far the BEST and most detailed set I've EVER built. This is my favorite car and I thought that it would be really cool to be my 100th. I picked right. This is a whopping 22 INCHES long and it's EPIC!! I really recommend this to you if you like cars. BRAVO LEGO!

Great from opening box, First LEGO build and enjoyed every moment to completion. Very satisfying to find it all worked at the end. I would have liked a clue as to what should work and some tests to do during build. Looks fantastic, have got to find a case for it. What now? Going to try the Porsche next.

I love this set, fun to build, not to much parts on the table, it was packed in different boxes and bags so it is much easyer to build. I recomand this.

I thoroughly enjoyed building this set. The instructions were clear to follow. I think it goes together well, the pieces fit together well and any problems I had (through my own mistakes) were easily corrected when building. I love the finished product it looks great.
Only one minor quibble, not a fan of the spoiler control key, would've preferred something small attached to the car permanently.

I have just reintroduced myself to Lego. I bought the Merc Truck about 2 years ago, before that I haven’t purchased anything for 35 years. I thought the truck was an oddity, a good set which I totally enjoyed building... but sadly, this is the norm.. and I’m addicted once more. It wasn’t an easy build, comparable to the truck, but it WAS fun. From the packaging to the finished car, you know you’ve got something special. Working steering, gearbox, pistons and spoiler all add to the model. A lack of motor functions could be off putting to some, but honestly, you could not fit them in.
I have had a recent stroke which impaired my “reasoning”, but I find that building is a therapy to help combat this. I work as a engineer and I consider that it is invaluable training to try and improve problem solving, hand - eye coordination and reading of plans. I have bought the rough terrain crane and the bucket excavator (and not mentioning 4 more of the creator expert sets). The only problem is the cost, that’s a lot of therapy!

Entertaining build

This build kept me busy for five days!!! Well worth the time spent. In hindsight, I should have spent one day per bag and stretched it out longer. The only complaint is that I was missing one connector piece but I was able to use a different piece without weakening the structure. Someday, I’ll take it all apart and build it again. I ordered the Mack truck and the 007 Astin Martin. I think I’m addicted now!

Great set!

This was my first all technic build and I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it but after this set I'm hooked! Great detail and the amount of work that went into designing this set is just amazing. I would like to say that I've been building lego for decades and I've never ever been missing a piece! If you find yourself missing a piece most likely you lost it or you made a mistake, I build nothing but the biggest sets and even with the 7500 piece falcon they are all there with extras just in case. Keep up the good work guys and just a suggestion here maybe a Titanic UCS is in order, the bigger the better!!!!
