this is my first ever lego and i am 48 it was challenging and kept my mine busy .
I like truck so this was perfect for me the instruction book was really good in detail and now that the truck is done it really is impressive

Fantastic heavy machinery

Absolute fantastic building experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and watching this amazing mechanism come together. My thumbs are sore from all the little parts but it was worth it seeing what came together. It was really interesting seeing the amount of detail going into this truck, the little engine is definitely my favourite part! I would recommend this to any heavy machinery lover. Just make sure you have the space for this at it is long, but a marvel to see.

I bought this set mainly for the LR garbage truck, but I built the Anthem first (I didn't want to take appart the Garbage truck, build the Anthem, then rebuild the Garbage truck) and I think they are amazing! The Anthem is amazing in detail, and the functions of the trailer are great. The Garbage truck is overall fantastic! The bin is kind of bland, and there is about a sixth of the pieces go unused in the Garbage Truck. Over all this set is great. Well done Lego!

Got this for my birthday - I did not get to build it, my 6yo got a hold of it and got it done in 4 days while I was out of town. He says it was fun and had a few challenges. I went through the build later and found and fixed a few minor mistakes. Love that truck!

Mack Tractor Trailer Container Set

I played with Legos really since I was about 7 years old and I am 44 now. I bought this set just out of a hobby and getting back into Lego Technic sets for fun.
I thought the set and pieces were very cool and unique! Plus the fact you can build the Garbage Loader Truck as well, which was very cool too!
It is the joy to build and rebuild over and over again and even think up your own designs.

Brilliant set

This set is fantastic, I was pleasantly surprised with the level of functionality especially on the trailer, the build itself is detailed and at times a bit fiddly but that’s why you buy technic.
It took me around 7 and a half hours to build the set in one sitting and I enjoyed every minute. The truck is detailed and a brilliant match to the styling of the genuin truck. I love the steering and differential.
The trailer is the selling point for this set for me. I love all the different functions and how easy it is to control. I will however say once it is made the lift is not quite long enough to drop the container off in one easy motion and when it is at full extension the gears do slip under the containers Waight. These aren’t the end of the world and don’t actually stop the set functioning but it would be nice for the action to be a bit smoother.
Overall this is fun and at times challenging. But well worth every penny, I’m yet to build the sencond design but it’s my next build!

I am a big fan of Lego creator expert and Lego technic. This truck is one of the bests sets of Lego Technic for me. After 15 hours of construction (I spent 15 hours because I like to make the constructions in slow mode to understand how one part of the set affect the other) I have to say that this truck is a good investment to anyone that like Legos. Warning: Like every set of Lego Technic your fingers will be sore after some hours of construction.
