Scratches in glass

cooktops came with far right knob tilted

Kitchen Aid Glass Stovetop Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Radiant stove top appearance is very nice. The ceramic glass top is easy to maintain and clean with the Affresh ceramic stove top cleaner. The other brand Weiman is good but can be a bit too aggressive if too much pressure is applied while rubbing gunk from cooking. I do use the Weiman glass top cleaners first to clean the ceramic glass top first and I apply the Affresh to remove the stains the spray can’t. Affresh has can rub out most cooking stains. Again the Kitchen Aid ceramic stove top is very attractive, but the two BIG negatives for me is the on off switch. A few of the knobs are wobbly and do not feel secure and not built well. First 2 knobs from the left feel a little wobbly. Not imagining this! The last 3 knobs feel a bit more secure, but not by much. The bezel on top of the glass top is so cheaply applied I was shocked. The bezel (like a trim ring) is only put in place by a glue like substance. It’s not even screwed into the glass top. This is called cheaping out making production costs lower, the reason I know is while I was cleaning and got some spray around the bottom edges, it caused the bezel to loosen off center and I removed the knob to see how it was secured. To my great surprise and disappointment this bezel was held in place by a glue like substance. It should haven been screwed in, not glued. So this is it in a nutshell!!!

Not happy with my cooktop being defective before u

Wonderful Addition to New Kitchen Remodel
