WOW! This cooktop features are awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the KitchenAid, because it was 1 of a very few with 5 elements, with 1 of the elements able to handle a large stockpot and wide dutch oven pan. Those looking for similar features will be pleased. Just note that this cooktop will require a cabinet that fits a 36" top or just under 35" (~34 11/16 cooktop under unit) and 50 amp circuit breaker.

Do Not buy Kitchenaid

Bought the cooktop without knobs for my brand new kitchen. 2 months after finishing kitchen it is recalled!! Cannot buy another brand because the different brands have different cutout measurements. Now I have to get another version which I do not want. Called KitchenAid, they do not care!! Wish I went with GE. Will NEVER buy KitchenAid again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacement cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop replaced our brand new KitchenAid cooktop that turned itself on and also changed heat settings by itself. The original cooktop did not have knobs which was so nice because it was easy to clean and the "knobless" look was beautiful. The replacement cooktop is easy to use and looks nice, but I would prefer not having to clean around the knobs. I am disappointed that KitchenAid did not provide a fix for the problem for the knobless model.

Extremely Poor Design

It was delivered with a knob already bent.
Can easily hit/bend knobs when removing pots from cooktop.
The surface does not clean well. Our 2008 KitchenAid cooktop was much better.
Disappointed because we wanted the larger 36" size!!!

Brand New Cook Top!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We enjoy the rapid heating, even heating, and solid knobs. Only drawback is the lack of white outline rings to help identify proper coil position for placing the pots - pans. It is not a major distraction, but means extra steps to find proper size for pots to be used.

Very Happy

We bought this for a full renovation of our kitchen, and we are very happy so far. After about 3 weeks of varying uses, we find that all the burners heat up very quickly, and they also cool down quickly (which is not usually talked about, but also very helpful). It looks great and has been easy to clean so far. The knobs function well, though they are also a bit flexible (for durability), which is fine, but different from our previous unit. Everything is providing the KitchenAid quality we expected.

Nothing is great about this stovetop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have answered your review about a month ago and the review is the same as then. I was hoping to hear a response from you but since I am receiving another request for a review, I assume my letter was put in the round file. Extremely dissatisfied with your stove top. Top shows smear marks when I clean, can't get marks off the top, even with the products I ordered from you. knobs should be on the right side, not the middle, no markings on the top to show where the burners are, when a burner is shut off, there should be a "hot" mark near the burner, NOT at the bottom of the stove top. As I said before this design was certainly not a design of a woman. No woman would approve this, especially after she cooked on it one time. The stove top I had 14 years ago was a dream. Yes it was a kitchenAid and I thought, surely, after all these years, there would be a lot of improvements. I could wipe the top and it was clean and beautiful. This top must be made out of a different product or I was sold a defected one. How many ways can I say, this product is awful and should not be on the market. I would appreciate an answer to my last review, as well as this one.
