Very happy, excellent design and functionality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a cooktop that could comfortably have two large 12-inch pans going at the same time, without bumping into another pan. This model was pretty much the only one I could find like that anywhere. I'm very happy with the intelligent design of the location of the elements. Other nice touches are the attractive etched grid design on the surface of the cooktop, the thickness of the glass, and the foam strips provided in the box for installation on an uneven counter surface. Also like the stainless-steel knobs though I wish they were removeable for cleaning. As for cleaning, I've read some negative reviews saying that it is hard to clean; I haven't found that it is any harder or easier than other electric cooktops I've used. Overall, completely satisfied.

Looks great but will not get clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove was in my new construction home. It looks great and heats well but is impossible to keep clean. I purchased the recommended cleaning kit but it still doesn't look clean and this is after only a few uses and consistently cleaning while using; there hasn't even been major spills.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hard to Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 16 year old Kitchenaid cooktop finally bit the dust. Shopping for a new one was difficult because of the cut if our Granite. We had to find one that fit. Another Kitchenaid was the only one that would fit so we found this model. I was looking for one with a flat top and integrated temperature controls but none were available. This model has the stainless knows and they are so hard to clean around but I was spoiled with the totally flat one I had. The entire surface seems to be very difficult to clean. I already have rings on my burner area that I can't seem to get rid of. Nothing has been burned on them. Not as happy with this one as my old one.

Good cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this cooktop for about a month now. The cooktop is nice and evenly heats our pots and pans. When you purchase this item, be sure to purchase Afresh cooktop cleaner as well as somethings cannot be cleaned with soap and water.
