I have the mg200c. Good luck trying to find any parts for that. Whole meat grinder is now garbage because of one plastic part that cannot be replaced.

I bought this to process deer. Our family hunts alot and after having the grinder for two months (5 deer) we have no compliant. Definitely recommend for sausage making

Best Grinder for Old Fashioned Chicken Salad. When you can grind the chicken and the pickles, and the celery and onions all at once, you get a chicken salad that's smooth and consistent. This meat grinder does everything it's supposed to do, and it does it very well. I wouldn't expect less. All my appliances are Cuisinart, so I may be a bit biased.

A very good grinder and best value for the money. I've used it several times in the month or so I've owned it. Other reviewers are concerned about the "plastic gears" that connect the auger to the motor. But these are high-density nylon gears, such as the type used in car engines. The motor is also quieter than those found in cheaper grinders.

Works pretty good. I accidentally threw away my Kitchen Aid Mixer meat grinder attachments so I had to buy this one. It isn't quite as stable, or powerful, but it worked for what I needed. I will try the sausage feature, I'm looking forward to that.

Cons:
-Plastic part for making sausage isn't ever going to be used by me, stupid idea to scrape a sharpened metal cutter against plastic (which isn't very smooth). Nobody wants plastic shavings in their sausages. There is no factory replacement part for this, not available as plastic, not available as steel.
-The screw housing mates to the motor housing using plastic parts. Can't see how these will last decades.
-Despite the manual saying the finish of certain parts would be damaged, I tossed everything but the motor unit in the dishwasher - I don't care about a shiny chromium-looking finishes, I don't care about pretty, I want fast cleanup, so I sacrificed the shine.
-Online manual from US website omits several pages of recipes which are found in the printed manual from the box, and found in the manual from the Canadian website. Afraid of ... what?

I love my meat grinder! I been able to make chicken burgers, chicken meatballs, chicken meatloaf and so much more! I bought a bunch of boneless skinless chicken breast and just been having a lot of fun with it! I use it at least once a week. It's just another Cuisinart to add to my ever growing collection of Cuisinart products!
