High quality in a small 24" range!

We were looking for a quality 24" electric range as we remodeled the small 6' x 8' kitchen in our "new to us" home.. Found so many small apartment sized stoves were cheaply made. Then we saw this Haier model. Exactly what we hoped for! Heavy duty main stainless steel cabinet with large knobs, large glass window in door, glass top, convection oven (which by the way is the largest oven size you can find in a 24" stove - yes there are different oven sizes!), digital timer & clock, plus a hot burner indicator light! Optional mounting back splash & bottom drawer could be heftier, but they're doable. Also, the 1" wide upper inner door/window reflective flashing liner came loose & fell, so it is making itself known hanging in the stove window now. Overall, we love the stove, friends & family complement it, & it cooks great! We recommend this stove, but don't expect the price to be small. It's priced at comparable full sized stove prices.

Great minimalist appearance

We love the Haier line of small appliances. This range fits perfectly with the Haier 24" over-the-range microwave.
The only thing that you (Haier) need to improve is the lighting of the clock (the microwave has the same issue). Since these two products typically install together, there needs to be a way to turn off the clock. It could be set up so the clock can be darkened until the oven door is opened. Then it returns to its normal lighting.

Let me start by saying that the functionality of the range is great, even heating on all of the burners and the oven. The look is exactly what we hoped for our small kitchen, clean lines and shiny surfaces. These things are as they should be for this price range. But, and I am disappointed to have to point these things out, the build quality is pretty poor. The storage bin is as flimsy or worse than ranges costing 1/3 of the price, the oven rack guides no longer support the racks due to warping of the inner walls that hold them in place, again, flimsy materials. The touch pad buttons are insanely sensitive and even the slighted graze will cause functions to turn on or off. Cleaning the top vent is impossible as you can’t remove the upper vent to access what needs to be cleaned even though it is very visible. Lastly, the front vent exhausts hot air directly into the control knobs causing the foil covering to bubble and peel off with a sponge and soapy water. The foil that remains on the plastic knobs is looking burned. After finding the insultingly high price of replacement knobs(each knob is priced as high as complete set of generic knobs) we’ve decided to ride it out with our flaking and somewhat white knobs. I am not happy to write these things as we were super excited to purchase the range but I would not recommend this unit to anyone that is going to use it the way it was designed to be used. If you want to buy it and have it just sit in your kitchen, it is gorgeous.

Looks sturdy except for flimsy, ill-fitting drawer

You have good reviews and I hope range lasts for a long time. Everyone complains about the drawer. This issue is in most reviews, yet you do nothing about it. It cannot be difficult to design a usable drawer with a decent track for opening and closing.

Heats up fast, looks great

SO far, after a few uses, this unit works great. It heats up fast and cooks evenly. I especially love that a half sheet tray fits in perfectly with a little room on the sides.
